Kara Tsuba
(Bundo Tsuba)| Kara Tsuba is also called Bundo Tsuba because of the shape similar to the Japanese balance weight called Bundo. Originally used for Kara Tachi Swords derived from Tang style Tsuba and it became japanized based on the Japanese taste and usage after Heian era. It features a curved portion of the Tsuba in contact with Tsuka, and Fuchi and Kuchi Kanamono are also made in curved shape accordingly. Used for our Hoso Tachi. |
