Daigensui Tachi
(Grand Marshal Sword, Generalissimo Sword)

"Gensui Tachi" was awarded to the full generals and admirals
who were registered into the marshal prefecture.
The scabbard of the Generalissimo sword
that is called Daigensui Tachi is particularly distinguished
from the Gensui Tachi by the engraved 7 pairs of
16 petal chrysanthemum flower crests.
The blade imitates the imperial treasure "Kogarasu Maru",
and the exterior imitates Kenuki-gata Tachi sword.
Chrysanthemum flowers are engraved on the entire surface
of the exterior metal fittings, and the chrysanthemum-crest is
fused vividly on the scabbard.

Custom-order Specs.

All metal fittings (Kabutogane, Tsuba, Fuchi, Ashikanamono,Semekanamono,Ishizuki) are made of brass with a chrysanthemum pattern and are gold-plated.
A metal Mekugi with a chrysanthemum flower pattern and a Kenuki with a carved chrysanthemum-crest are mounted on the hilt.
7 pairs of brass 16 chrysanthemum flower petal crest are mounted on the scabbard.
Spring-clip type button is functional.
A "16 eight-fold chrysanthemum crest'' on the front and "skeletal 16 eight-fold chrysanthemum crest" on the back are inlaid at the foot of Habaki, and it distinguishes the difference between "yang'' and "yin'' on the front and back. Chrysanthemum flower pattern is engraved on the brass Fuchi and Kuchi as well.
Custom-made Cashew lacquer is applied.
The blade is in the "Kogarasu-maru" structure and is made of high-quality chrome-plated brass.
